I feel lonely today. I can handle it; I’ve had lots of practice, but…you know.
I could call people or go to the football game. But I think, sometimes, when we’re lonely, it’s not company we want but familiarity.
Everything’s new. So it goes.

Yes, I’m sure you know the feeling! It comes and goes, and it’s all part of transition. Glad you can relate. Well…not glad, but you know.
